Scott Williams is an experienced, creative and visionary underwater photographer.

Based in Australia, Scott Williams founded H2oPhoto to deliver outstanding art to the world.

For the past seven years, Scott Williams has been capturing inspirational and artistic moments
underwater.

His portfolio showcases a variety of sophisticated underwater fashion shoots, joyful swim school children, unforgettable portraits and exotic marine life. Scott William’s personality, passion and professional approach captures the best of each moment.

Having worked with model agencies, magazines, print media and swim schools, Scott Williams has been successfully working with a variety of clients, on small to large projects.

Acclaimed photographer launches Butterfly Series – Media Release

Nationally acclaimed underwater photographer and Northern Beaches resident Scott Williams will launch his unique Butterfly Series artwork during an exhibition event in Mosman on June 23.

The launch of Butterfly Series is the start of a program of exhibitions for Scott Williams, who for the past decade has been capturing inspirational and artistic moments underwater.

His unique photography style is reflected in the butterfly series which features the movement, colour and style of the human body underwater.

“I’m very passionate about underwater photography and I have a great love and respect for the underwater world,” Mr Williams said.

Mr Williams said he created the Butterfly Series to show the world how beautiful underwater photography can be.

David Mijich from David and Sasha Hairdressing in Mosman will transform his salon into an open, colourful and engaging art gallery for the evening.

“Local residents have a long history in promoting and supporting the arts industry. I’m delighted to be the host for the evening to showcase the talents of Scott Williams,” Mr Mijich said.

“This is a unique event as guests will be able to interact with Scott Williams and discuss his inspiration and concept behind the artwork on a personal basis.”

The launch event, which is expected to attract a diverse audience, will feature complimentary food and wine from participating local businesses, gift packs from De Lorenzo and a raffle with all donations going to Mosman Primary School to support art and craft projects for the students.

The planning and organisation was made easy with great regular communication. From the beginning of the shoot, I felt very comfortable with Scott. As I had never done this before, I asked questions. Direction given was really good; I was helped in various ways, for breathing, body shape and posture. Two days later, I saw the all the final images on a private link, which I was able to download and view the photos in high resolution. Anyone wanting to shoot underwater, especially when pregnant, my advise is DO IT!

The whole day, was great fun and enjoyable, a great experience with AMAZING results, which not many people can say they have, to remember their pregnancy.

I have done two photo shoots with Scott, before my first one I was a little bit nervous, but with Scott’s professionalism and easy going personality, I soon felt at ease and very comfortable.

The experience was great fun, and seeing the photo’s at the end result was very exciting (I never knew I could look that great under water!). After seeing the photos from the first shoot, by the time the second shoot came around, I couldn’t wait to get in the water. We had a fun day, and Scott had an eye for what he was looking for, so we tried a lot of new things and again the photos turned out even better than I had thought!

Swim School Portraits

Fun, ‘learn to swim’ portraits in a safe, familiar environment. Have these moments last forever!

FEES
A sitting fee is charged with no subsequent obligation to buy. The booking fee for the school
swim portraits is $30 per child (40min photo shoot) or private family booking is $100 (30min photo shoot).

IS MY CHILD READY?

Your child will need to be comfortable submerging underwater for 2 to 5 seconds as this will
ensure the best picture possible. Children love having their photo taken. If your child poses
in front of the camera and loves being underwater then some truly unique images will be yours.

PHOTOGRAPHING PROCESS

The aim is to get one perfect shot. Each session lasts for approximately 40 minutes.

COPYRIGHT

The Copyright and ownership of all images taken in the photo shoots remains with Scott Williams.
Printing, copying or scanning your photograph is strictly prohibited. No Digital Files will
be supplied for printing.

BOOKING FEE IS NON–REFUNDABLE

Much organisation goes into underwater photo shoots for children to ensure the process is
streamlined for their comfort. As a result, if you are unable to attend the photo shoot, regardless
of the reason, your sit fee cannot be refunded.

HOW DO I BOOK MY CHILD’S UNDERWATER PHOTO SHOOT?

To book for your photo shoot please call 02 8021 2888 you will then need to pay your sitting
fee online using any of the Online links.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING

Come as you would to a normal swimming lesson with swimmers, goggles, towel and
a happy smile.

HOW DO I ORDER MY PRINTS

All photographs will be placed online for viewing in a secure online gallery that is viewable
only with an access code. The access code to enter the gallery will be provided on the day
of the shoot. Each access code is limited to the particular photo shoot session. Please note,
we log all IP addresses for security purposes.
